I gave up my car (at least for the summer), stopped eating meat, fish, poultry, and eggs. I\u2019ve also been privileged to observe the success of people around me. For example, my husband,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/donation.jovial-noether.94-136-184-62.plesk.page\/thomas-fredricksen-advanced-buteyko-practitioner\/\">Thomas<\/a>, stopped using sunblocks, which was not easy considering that he spent many years in Hawaii. He also replaced his iPhone with a simple internet-free phone. I also noticed that AnnChris, our Program Coordinator and a former\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/donation.jovial-noether.94-136-184-62.plesk.page\/asthma-natural-alternative-holistic-solution-by-buteyko-breathing-method\/\">asthmatic<\/a>, is off of her medication \u2013 she does not need it anymore! Monique, our\u00a0<a href=\"\/sasha-yakovleva-advanced-buteyko-breathing-practitioner\/\">Buteyko Breathing Method Specialist<\/a>\u00a0from Holland, told me that recently she stopped wearing socks and even gave up her favorite vest. She was able to do so because her body temperature became more self-regulatory as a result of applying <a href=\"\/wim-hof-method-of-breathing-can-it-be-dangerous\/\">Russian tempering<\/a>. Also, several of my students stopped consuming dairy products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the point of view of <a href=\"https:\/\/donation.jovial-noether.94-136-184-62.plesk.page\/dr-buteyko\/\">Dr. Buteyko<\/a>, success is not the number of material possessions you can accumulate; instead, it is what you can live without. \u201cLess\u201d instead of \u201cMore\u201d is the true foundation for a healthy body, mind, and spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This point of view seems to be far away from the \u201cAmerican Dream\u201d but is close to the philosophy of yoga. Letting go of attachments, allows us to be more independent and also happier.
